Rainforest Village

Rainforest Village sits on Cape Tribulation Road, right where the rainforest meets the reef. It’s a caravan and camping park with cabins, so you’ve got options whether you’re towing a van or just want a roof over your head. It’s not flash, but it’s comfortable enough and well set up for the area.

Expect the usual tropical quirks – bugs and humidity come with the territory. The site is well shaded and close to the beach, but it can get busy in peak season. Book ahead if you want a site, as it’s one of the few places around that lets you stay near the Daintree without camping out in the national park.
