NSW cabins where dogs are welcome inside, not just on the site

The pet-friendly NSW directory includes parks that welcome dogs on sites, cabins, or both, and parks that have only marked themselves as dog-friendly. This page is cabins only: at least one cabin is marked dog-friendly. Parks that take dogs on a powered site but not inside a cabin stay on the parent directory.

Usually yes. Most parks only make a handful of cabins dog-friendly, while most of their pet-friendly spots are powered sites. Shoulder seasons (April to June, September to November) give the best mix of availability and weather on both NSW coasts. Book ahead for school holidays and long weekends.

Only where that cabin’s policy allows it. Some parks permit a quiet, crated dog inside a locked cabin; others require dogs to stay with you whenever you leave. Those rules are on the listing, so you can choose a cabin that matches how you travel before you book.

NSW law restricts five breeds under the Companion Animals Act, and councils can declare additional dogs restricted. Most parks mirror that list and may exclude more breeds at their discretion. For cabins you book on Total Parks, ineligible breeds are blocked before payment rather than after you arrive.
