Mungo Lodge and Mungo Guided Tours

Mungo Lodge is the main accommodation option inside Mungo National Park. It’s not your standard caravan park or fancy resort – expect simple cabins and powered sites, mostly catering to people doing the guided tours around the park. The lodge is basic but clean, with an on-site bar and café that’s handy since you won’t find much else nearby.

The guided tours are the main draw here, running through the park’s ancient landscape and telling you about the local Indigenous history. If you’re after a quiet spot to camp inside the park with some creature comforts, this is your best bet. Just don’t expect luxury or heaps of amenities – it’s remote and a bit rough around the edges.
